ENJOY THE MINUTE

Muddy Feet Adventures is about enjoying life. Letting the mud squish between our toes, wiggling them and having a good laugh, or, if you prefer, running through the sand to hit the ocean waves. It is about not being afraid of getting dirty as we pursue our dreams. It is about facing the future, happily being ourselves. It is about everyday, enjoying the beauty that surrounds us, making the journey, always understanding we have arrived at our destination.

I love photography, spending time with my wife Saskia and being in nature. Since I am retired, I am fortunate to have time to do all three. We moved to Whittier NC a couple of years ago. Living in the mountains with the surrounding forest allows us to spend a lot of time together and provides many opportunities for photography. Photography also allows me an opportunity to laugh at myself as I have a red-green color blindness. Things get interesting at times. I often ask my wife if the picture looks ok as I process it, and am surprised that most of the time she says yes.
